  1. Lauren, such a great blog. I love your positive approach, and of course amazing recipes. I’m wondering if the diet analysis website is available to everyone? It seemed you had to be a teacher to use it. Also wondering why you post only 4 days worth of recipes? Or am I missing something?
Thanks so much and continued good luck on your journey.

    1. Hi Curt! I am so sorry I am just getting back to you, for some reason your email just showed up today! Thank you so much for taking the time to send me such an encouraging message I really appreciate it! The diet analysis I used for a while was one I had access to through university, but since the blog has grown I have actually purchased a more thorough program used by dieticians and nutritionists. So unfortunately the one I use is not available for free for everyone to use, but I wanted to make sure that all of the information I was providing was as accurate as possible, that is why it was important to me to purchase a proper program.

I also only do 4 days of recipes just because it is a lot work and I do not get paid for the blog. It is something that I do just because I have found it very therapeutic in coping with my diagnosis and new reality. I also find a four day meal plan is something that people can easily stick to. This allows for days to eat out, leftovers, or unexpected plans. Since starting this journey I have found 4 days strict and 3 days smart is a very sustainable approach to adopting long-term healthy eating habits.

Thank you so much for your great questions! Please do not hesitate if you have any other questions for me! And thank you again for your kind words and support!
